The Francis Marion provided my friends and me, who all came to Charleston from different parts of the country, with a wonderful experience! It's beautifully located, the lobby was welcoming and comfortable and the amenities were excellent. And I can't say enough about the helpful staff! It really was a great choice for our gathering.

We were in Charleston for the engagement party of our son. This hotel was outstanding in every way. Beautiful to the eye. Great staff and personnel. We especially enjoyed the Swap Fox Restaurant and our wonderful waitress, Sylvie. She was terrific. We could not more highly recommend this hotel and restaurant.

When booking we were told we had a Harbor view and a Queen Bed. The View was pushing it and the bed was a full size🤷‍♀️Staff was very nice but it would have been better if we knew ahead and we may have upgraded.

In addition to 14,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space, the Francis Marion Hotel is pleased to announce the opening of the new Carolina Ballroom and Conference Center. The new conference facility features 7,000 square feet of total conference space, including a 4,500 square ft elegant ballroom overlooking Marion Square.
