I was not crazy about the hall to Canapy room I stayed in. The doors were to narrow for the clothes cart. I got soaked and wet taking the cart to my room. I'm waiting and watching my credit card statement to make sure I wasn't double billed for my room. I had prepaid and was asked to supply my credit card again to check out.

Merritt needs to update its online information which is sometimes wrong or misleading. Online info presented to me said there was a free shuttle from the HSV airport to the hotel. There was not. Room door lock malfunction locked me out of my room.
Hotel was very clean, quiet and friendly staff..
Perfectly located in heart of Huntsville. Lots to do.
My family really enjoyed the stay. Comfortable and we had no issues.
