If you are flying out of Philadelphia, you can't beat the convenience of staying the night before you leave. It felt like we added an extra day to our vacation because for once, I was well rested and had plenty of energy our first night abroad. We liked our stay so much we booked the night of our return flight!

I had to stay overnight because the second leg of my flight (flying from Pittsburgh home to Maine) with Frontier was cancelled due to the IT issues that affected many. My knee is in a brace due to an injury and had a long walk to get to the hotel. A United employee driving a cart was kind enough to give me a ride as close to the hotel as he could and had another employee with a wheelchair bring me the rest of the way. By the time I arrived at the front desk I was exhausted. The Front desk employee, Chris (Christian), saw that I was exhausted and frustrated, especially since I had been overcharged by Expedia which I inadvertently booked my room through. He kindly explained that he couldn't adjust the room fee for me but looked up the Expedia customer service number to help. It was late and I asked how late the restaurant was open. He gave me the time but then asked if I liked Chicken Caeser salad. I said I did and he asked me to wait for a moment. He then brought me a salad, gave me water and apple juice for the next morning and extended my checkout time to 2pm. I had mentioned that I had to work on finding a flight home once I got up to the room, so giving me the salad, water, apple juice and extending my checkout time was a Godsend. What a kind and respectful young man he is and he definitely made an exemplary impression for your staff. Thank you so much for the wonderful hotel staff you employ. When I called the front desk the next day to ask for a shuttle to airport, Chris was back at the front desk to assist. He walked me over to the driver of the shuttle and continued to walk with me to the exit. I asked permission to give him a hug for all he did for me and he obliged me, I will definitely recommend your hotel to friends and family should they find they are in need.

I’ve stayed in this particular hotel multiple times and have always felt that all my needs are beautifully met from reservations to special requests such as two AM checkin due to delayed flights. The staff are exemplary, the rooms well suited, housekeeping excellent. Systems,security and an adjoins restaurant of good quality. Proximity to metropolitan transport excellent. I’ll be back.

At our recent stay, there had been many flight cancellations and the hotel was unexpectedly very busy. The front desk staff handled everyone with ease and made everyone feel welcomed. It was a difficult situation and the staff really were very accommodating.

Our flight was canceled for two days. The Marriot was so convenient to go to and from the airport. The Marriot staff was so friendly and the entire hotel was super clean. I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

I would think that as an airport hotel your restaurant would know how to deal with cancelled flights. We waited 40 minutes to be seated, 15 minutes for a server to come to the table and another 40 minutes for our food.
