Inn at the Opera is great for extended stays and small groups, especially with families. Every room has a kitchenette and a homey feel, as this used to be a residential building. Clients say that the accommodations feel very European, certainty quiet and cozy. Be warned - some of the rooms are very tiny with hardly any closet space, while others are very large and can split into separate sleeping rooms via fold-out couches and French doors. It is important to communicate your needs with the staff. The hotel has a wonderful location in the trendy Hayes Valley, adjacent to the San Francisco Ballet, Opera, and Symphony as well as other Civic Center attractions. This is a great place for charming, low key accommodations in the heart of the San Francisco arts district.
