They try, but the hotel is just old and in need of a makeover. Just old and tired. It was evident that they tried to keep the place clean, but the shower curtain was falling apart, the bed linens were just stiff and thin and the air con was just noisy. the unit was damp from the condensation and fealt like an old locker room.

The Red Roof Inn - Virginia Beach (Norfolk Int'l Airport) is located 1 mile from I-64 on Northampton Blvd (Rt 13). We are centrally located in the Hampton Roads Community that puts many local attractions and shopping just minutes away. The Norfolk International Airport is just 3 Miles away.This Red Roof property offers an outdoor unheated pool, free coffee, juice, tea in the lobby with donuts available in the morning. You’ll have contemporary furniture, new bathrooms with granite countertops and shower walls, a comfortable easy chair and more. Hair Dryers, Irons and Ironing Boards are available at the Front Desk. All rooms also offer T-Mobile high-speed internet access, (daily fee may apply), so you can keep up with your e-mail, look up local attractions, and/or surf the internet. You’ll find the microwave and refrigerators in each room will come in handy, as well.Our rooms were remodeled in 2006 to our Redesigned, Rededicated commitment to ensure our guests have a memorable stay in the Virginia Beach area. We have 3 room types: King, which features a built-in desktop workspace; Queen (1 Queen Bed), and our Double room that features 2 Queen Beds. We also accommodate smoking and non-smoking requests.The Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel is within 4 miles. Golf is available within 1 mile and a 20 minute ride will get you down to the Virginia Beach Oceanfront (13 mi). If you like to visit military landmarks, Little Creek Amphibious Base, Norfolk Naval Base, Oceana Naval Air Station, USS Wisconsin, Camp Pendleton, Fleet Combat Training Center - Atlantic, Langley Air Force Base, Ft Story, Ft Eustis, and the historic Ft Monroe are all just a short drive away.If you are traveling with a pet, one well-behaved family pet per room is welcome. We also have Universal Rooms that will accommodate special needs. Many restaurants, from Fast-Food to Buffet to Full-Service, are available within 1 mile of the property. Military Circle Mall and JANAF Shopping Center offers many different types of retail shops and stores.This Red Roof Inn charges an additional $1.00 city occupancy tax per night, per room. All cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to arrival. Friday and Saturday reservations that are arriving between May 1st through September 30th, must be canceled 24 hours prior to 4:00 pm of arrival date.
