"Remodel" looked cheap. Musty/stale smells in hallways and rooms. Black mold/mildew along ring/caulk of tub. When checking in, the "receptionist" kept asking my personal information out loud even though she had my valid driver license, confirmation for reservations, etc., while others were present. That makes me uncomfortable, as I was traveling alone and my personal info was already in her system because it reflected on my confirmed email. When I returned, I felt uncomfortable again looking/observing my surroundings and "activities" coming in/out the door. Not very welcoming.

The room was adequate. The staff were all wonderful! We were staying there to be with friends that were also staying there. We were able to play cards in the lobby as there were tables and chairs. They also offered hot water and tea bags, along with coffee, that was available all night. Enjoyed the breakfast in the morning.
