"Unique rooms horrible restaurant manager."

Hotel grounds and rooms are clean and unique. Front desk recognized special occasion, relicung a memory of 50 years ago they made reservations for us for a 9pm desert. We were refused to be served dessert because we did not order a meal. Restaurant was about 25% full. Sent off to the bar area where we would be served. 20 minutes later no one came to help us. We are all in our 70's and manager Jesse has the worst customer servuce and made out experience into a zero rating. Finally had coffee and desert at our 3rd table. All employees seem not care with the exception of the one that finally served us and he was great.

Was surprised there was no blow dryer and there was no bedside reading light Didn't feel very private either. Ice machine needs new instructions on how to get ice out.

We stayed in the fabulous 50’s room, it was super clean, quiet and lovely. The pool and spa view is breathtaking as well as is the intricate decor at the cafe and steakhouse. Everything is beautiful. So much to see. Looking forward to another visit in a new room.
