I realize that we were there the night of the tornado and that there was no electricity. We could not shower in the morning unless we used cold water. No breakfast. I have a 14 year old dog that I had to practically carry down the stairs since I did not get my requested first floor room. Most important: there are emergency lights in the stairwells. It was completely dark. Managing luggage and my dog was not an easy task. Took several trips. Thank goodness I carry a flashlight for safety. Then we were not compensated in any way for all our inconvenience.
Everything I was looking for, a pool and relaxation!
It was extremely peaceful and clean. The staff was kind, helpful, and courteous, and the breakfast was fantastic.

Dirty. Had very small pillows five that equal to regular pillows. Needs some maintenance done.
We enjoyed our stay and will recommend this hotel to others that may visit there!
Only problem I had was understanding the concierge.

Older but very clean hotel; the bed was so nice to sleep on.
Beds were very comfortable, everything was clean, the front desk was very helpful and the breakfast staff and cooks were very good and friendly. Lots of things to see and do for the family in Louisville; don't miss the zoo! It's smaller but the animals are great the gorilla enclosure is amazing and the shuttle drivers were funny and informative. The Science Center offers a lot for various ages with lots of displays and engaging demonstrations.
The rugs in the hall were very dirty. The carpet in the room was dirty and none of the doors in my room shut properly.
Not a bad place to stay.
