1. Only one elevator is in service but it wasn't working Sunday when we arrived and it stopped again on Monday and again on Tuesday morning. Undependable! 2. The entrance road to/from the back parking lot is very rough, needs repair. 3. Drains in the bathroom sink and tub are exceedingly slow.

We had a lot of interaction with breakfast, front desk and cleaning staff. They were all very helpful. Everything was clean and we had no issues with our room. This is our 2nd stay here.

This hotel is a hidden jewel for a very fair price. The facilities are clean and well maintained. The rooms have modern lighting and comfortable beds. Even the shower curtain is quality. The breakfast has a good variety of choices. The parking area has easy access to a main road. This place has an exceptional staff. A great place to stay for a getaway to the mountains of NC. We have stayed in Boone and in West Jefferson in the past, but this was a great place to stay and the price was better than those other locations.
