Our first stay in our new favorite Everett hotel began with an early check in offered by the Desk Clerk, Marlene, when she learned my wife and I were in town for a family funeral and needed to change clothes after arriving from California. My wife grew up in Everett and spent time gazing out the windows of our impressive corner suite at significant locations recalling her childhood. We have visited Everett at least four times each year for about 15 years, staying at hotels closer to relatives, but I chose the Marriott Downtown to take advantage of walking distance to several restaurants we enjoy. As a full size guy, 6' 5",
We stayed in Room 505 and thought it was very nice. The room was well-appointed with a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, which made our stay more convenient. Check-in was smooth and quick, and the parking garage was clean and well-maintained. I especially appreciated the added security feature of needing a room key to access the elevator.
Street noise, squirreling tires, unmuffled engines and auto racing in front of hotel all night long. It's not the hotels fault but they should insist local police put an end to it. If you must stay here, insist, No DEMAND, a room in the back of the hotel.
The Bistro (American cuisine) and onsite Starbucks coffee shop are both open for breakfast on weekdays from 6:30am to 9:30am and on weekends from 7am to 11am.

Clean, organized, smiles on the workers, friendly.
Accommodations were at typical Courtyard standards. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
