My wife and I have been staying at the Hyatt Place in State College for a few years now. Our well serviced room and its panoramic view from an upper floor is just great. But,our latest stay was rather uneven: the staff is excellent, but there seems to be a bit of a problem with some services, particularly a TV that was not working despite the staff's best efforts to correct the problem. We were advised that Hyatt Place was having recurring problem with the provider and that Hyatt Place was working on a replacement provider. Otherwise, our only complaint is the very limited parking during check in. Only room for two vehicles, often resulting with waiting in line on the major street and blocking heavy traffic. Hyatt Place is very convenient for us and we trust some of the kinks can be worked out.

Welcome to a different PLACE. The Hyatt Place State College is the newest hotel, located in the heart of downtown State College. The 165 room hotel is a multi-use property paired with 5,000 square feet of meeting space, a 24-hour coffee to cocktail bar, in-house Federal Taphouse Restaurant, and H&M and Target department stores. Our hotel is steps away from Penn State University and walking distance of numerous local dining and shopping facilities.
